Our History

Kenway Construction was founded in 2015 in Tucson, Arizona, as a family business built on quality and trust. Over the next decade, father and son team Ken Hobbs Sr. and Ken Hobbs Jr. earned a reputation as a dependable general contractor serving hundreds of satisfied clients. Following Ken Sr.'s retirement in 2025, Ken Jr. relocated to Sonora, California, to marry his sweetheart, Cherish, and bring the company's legacy to the Sierra Foothills. Now fully licensed as a California General B contractor, Kenway Construction is proud to bring that same dedication, honesty, and craft to our neighbors throughout the Mother Lode.
